A full-time Experienced Researcher position, for a post-doctoral researcher, is available at the Hospital General de Ciudad Real, Spain, in the frame of the Marie Curie European Project “Academia and Industry Collaboration for Digital Pathology” (AIDPATH).
Duties assigned to this position will require an in-depth knowledge in microscopic analysis of histopathological tissue samples derived from either biopsy or surgical specimens in cancer and kidney disease patients, and subject to IHC or fluorescence staining for various antigen or nucleic acid targets.
This work will involve organizing and implementing research plans, development of research methods, testing and data collection, statistical analysis and report writing.
The beneficiary may also engage cooperation with other individuals involved in cancer and kidney patient study. Contribution to the writing of dissemination materials (reports and papers) will be required.
