Molecular Pathology – 2 years PhD position under Marie Curie Action IAPP Project, Astrazeneca, Cambridge (UK)

There is increasing emphasis on automated scoring of immunohistochemical, immunofluorescent and fluorescent in situ hybridisation (FISH) stains of human cancer samples. A growing area of interest is the automated analysis of immune cell infiltrates in human tumours. The new AIDPATH recruit will play a critical role in developing and optimising pattern recognition algorithms that accurately distinguish relevant and irrelevant cells in human tissue samples from a variety of tumour types.
